Client Y’s R&D department was under pressure to deliver but was experiencing particular delays in the development of one of the products. They contacted Enertek for development support.
During the introductory meeting it quickly became evident that the underlying cause of the development delays was due to issues affecting the full range of products being developed. To assist with the development issues it was decided that one of Enertek's engineers would work alongside the clients engineers at their premises, so that their experience could be pooled and (if necessary with support from their colleagues back at Enertek) introduce some new ideas to find a solution.
On this occasion, Enertek’s engineer reported directly to the client’s project manager who retained responsibility for co-ordinating deliverables in which case an hourly rate was used instead of a projected quotation.
