With an increasing trend for heat networks and cooling schemes, Enertek International Ltd, a leading research and development consultancy, has extended its test facilities to cater for the changing requirements of Manufacturers, Suppliers and Specifiers of HIU and CIU appliances. As well as being an accredited test facility for undertaking the recognised BESA test regime for indirect heat interface units Enertek has further developed its capabilities to test products which lie outside the scope of the BESA tests, either in temperature ranges, output or design such as ‘direct’ HIU appliances and cooling interface units.

Enertek’s facilities have also been adapted to meet a growing requirement for undertaking independent Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) or witness testing of appliances to demonstrate performance in similar conditions to those that have been identified for specific installations.

Capabilities now include:

BESA Test Regime Certification to (revision 9) 2018
Bespoke HIU manufacturer’s testing
Independent Witness (FAT) testing on heating appliances
Independent Witness (FAT) testing on cooling appliances

NOTE - Enertek can also make the test rig available for hire to manufacturers for them to conduct their own R&D tests.
